Security Wire
Galvanized & PVC-coated
Overview
Barbed wire is steel wire fitted with sharp barbs at regular intervals to keep intruders and animals out. It is one of the most economical ways to secure a boundary, and it is used on farmland, industrial and commercial sites, along highways and railways, on top of walls, and around prisons and military grounds. Galvanized and PVC-coated versions are available.
Where it is used

Twisted double-strand wire resists cutting with pliers and does not stretch or shear under tension.
Four-point barbs lock firmly in place along the twisted strands.
Red barbs (on PVC-coated versions) are easier for animals to see and avoid.
Heavy zinc coating, with higher-grade options for coastal or humid sites.
Stretch the wire over the posts and fix it; with Y-arms or concrete posts, barbs pass through the designated holes.
Low cost to buy, install and maintain, for agricultural, industrial, residential and commercial boundaries.
