Overview
Concertina coil, also called razor coil, is razor-blade tape formed into an open spiral. It is installed on top of walls and fences, or used on its own, as a strong deterrent against climbing and trespassing. Unlike barbed wire, the coil can be opened out into larger loops to form a wider barrier. It is used at borders, prisons, airports, railway stations, police camps, industrial sites and farmland.
